Culture: Solari is a melting-pot type of country, with more immigrant population than native. Solari has a high Elven population, and because those communities are self-sufficient and do little trading, the 'trade' of the country is actually limited to a fraction of the population.
Economy: While there is some standard staple crops and fishing, Solari relies on a superior type of silk produced by the specialized silk worms developed in this country. The country has a rich oyster bed which produces coloured pearls (blue and pink) -- a very highly sought-after commodity.
Military: Militia, with every citizen being required to train for 2 years and then to attend to keeping fit for battle on a half-year cycle. In times of war, all male citizens will bear arms.
Notes: As the only female ruler among the Twelve Nations, Queen Mahala battles the stodgy sexism of other rulers with a keen wit and ready smile. Allied most closely with Akelor's ruler and armed with historical female rulers' precedents, Queen Mahala has pushed Solari forward among the Twelve Nations during her reign.
